The sfincione Palermitano is mostly marketed by street vendors who with their "lapini" (three-wheeled vehicles) move around the various districts of the city to sell this delicacy.
Their arrival is announced by an abbanniata (shouted) through a loudspeaker followed by long pauses to wait for people to come down from their homes to buy the sfincionello or sfincionello.
